Who runs this site
kreyz.com is owned and operated by Kreyz LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company. “We” and “us” in this policy mean Kreyz LLC. Questions go to jordan@kreyz.com.
What we collect
Visits. We count visits to see which posts people read. We use Jetpack Stats (run by Automattic), Google Analytics (run by Google) and Statify, which counts page views on our own server without cookies. Jetpack Stats and Google Analytics receive your IP address, browser details and the pages you view, and Google Analytics sets cookies.
Comments. If you comment, we keep the name, email address and website you enter, plus your IP address and browser details, to check for spam. Your email is never shown. It may be turned into a hash and checked against Gravatar (run by Automattic) to show your profile picture.
Email subscriptions. If you subscribe to new posts, Jetpack (run by Automattic) stores your email address to send them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Server logs. Our host, IONOS, logs requests to the site, including IP addresses, for security and operation.
Cookies
Google Analytics and Jetpack set cookies to count visits. If you comment, you can choose to save your name and email in a cookie for a year so you don’t have to type them again. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site still works.
Links and embedded content
Posts link to other sites, such as Amazon. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may collect data when you visit them. Share buttons don’t contact the social network until you click them.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it except with the services named above, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Comments and their details stay as long as the comment is up. Subscriber emails stay until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept under each service’s own settings.
Your choices
Email us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, including your comments. We’ll answer within 30 days.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
